Teaching Philosophy

As a future educator, my objective it to facilitate the learning of each of my students. I hope to create a curriculum that encourages students to push themselves to learn more about their community and the world around them, so the knowledge they learn can be carried over to their adult lives. I will hold myself to a higher level of expectancy as to promote my students to aspire to the same level of respectability. I will accomplish this by using the subsequent morals;

Exploration- As a future educator I believe it is important for everyone to continue learning. I promise to facilitate learning in an exciting manner so students desire to learn and become more educated. Together, we will learn alongside each other, as students. I hope to spark a love of learning that will transition outside of just my classroom, so the students desire to learn in all areas of life.

Responsibility- As an individual, I have a duty to be responsible to all I come across in life. I will be professional in all situations as to rise and set a level of expectation for my institution, my students, and myself. I will promote a safe environment for students to share and learn, without fear of trepidation. This will be portrayed through being respectful of others and the level of knowledge of the material being taught.

Respect- The setting of my classroom will at all times be respectful, no matter the situation. I will practice and display a sense of understanding and compassion to each person, regardless of the individual’s background. My personal convictions will not cloud my ability to educate or aid my students.

Excellence- I will strive to excellence in all of my work, along with encouraging my students toward the same goal. I will do this to promote my students to be their best so we can all grow together to be better citizens. I know students will model my behavior and I will inspire to help them rise to their full potential.
