While attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I have had the privilege to work with talented fellow students and exceptional teachers.

While studying leadership, I have worked with my knowledge of leadership theory to be able to apply these concepts to both personal life situations and classroom work. From my first experience of discussing leadership in, Capture the Flag Jack! for my first leadership class. To a case study I wrote for my Professional Development in Agricultural Education class.

Kansas High School Ag Safety Day Workshop Facilitators
From classroom learning to applying what I have learned to outside classroom experience. I have learned how to create lesson plans and presentations to train individuals outside of the constraints of a typical classroom. I facilitated a sun safety workshop during the Kansas High School Ag Safety Day. Along with workshop design, I have developed a training program for a local restaurant in Champaign, Illinois after a needs assessment was completed the previous semester.
