Wabash Valley College

Wabash Valley Community College 2016 Agriculture Students.
During my enrollment at Wabash Valley College, I developed and deepened my love of community while continuing my education. As I attended community college, I learned the importance of education and working hard. I found my place in a class dedicated to creating and cultivating a community garden to help the Wabash County Food Pantry. While I worked towards an associate's degree in science, I committed a portion of my time to working the ground and helping develop curriculum for a freshman college experience class. I worked closely with my advisor, and after a year we created a defined garden and class. I am blessed to have found a community with both my agriculture classmates and garden acquaintances.

Before starting college, I had the opportunity to work with AgriGold as an office intern. I appreciate my time at AgriGold because I learned more about the sales side of agriculture while learning how to work in a professional atmosphere. As an intern, I was responsible for filing, billing, and other general office work. As a college student, I have been able to transfer my knowledge and life skills I earned at AgriGold to assist me with academic success.
